Services

Our wide range of services include:

Wellness Care:  We recommend your pet be examined at least once yearly, and kept up-todate on routine vaccinations.  We also offer heartworm, feline leukemia and stool screens.  In order to keep your pet a happy, healthy member of the family, we offer pre-purchase, behavioral and nutritional counseling, as well as extended puppy and kitten visits and customized care for the senior pet.

Senior Pets receive our comprehensive services to promote the quality of their lives. During September we remind our clients with special discounts to provide the incentive to maintain your pet's complete health profile. So that if your elder citizen does exhibit a future health problem we can establish baseline to assist us in diagnosis. In addition, are doctors will discuss new behavior and nutrition regimens that will aid in keeping your pet living a long and happy life.

Diagnostic Testing:    We have an extensive in-house laboratory and can order special tests from an outside lab if necessary.  We also offer ultrasound, a range of x-ray procedures, electrocardiography and blood pressure testing.

Dental Care:  Dental disease is one of the most common problems in our pets and can cause not only bad breath but can lead to appetite and weight loss, infection, and loss of important teeth.  Regular, professional cleanings combined with home care can prevent these problems. Our hospital is equipped with an ultrasonic scaling unit, a high-powered handpiece for dental procedures, and a special dental x-ray unit for use in evaluating your pet's dental health.

Surgery:  Our doctors perform a variety of surgical services, from routine spays and neuters to foreign object removals and exploratory surgeries.  Our surgical suite is equipped with gas anesthetic machines and electrocautery equipment.  Doctors don sterile attire and use separate, sterilized surgical instruments for each patient.  Before surgery, we offer pre-anesthetic blookwork and IV catheter placement. During surgery, our trained vet technicians monitor your pet using cardiac and pulse oximetery equipment.  We carefully maintain your pet's body temperature with a circulating hot water pad, and other warming equipment. After surgery, your pet is carefully monitored to ensure an uneventful recovery, and pain medication is administered when needed.
